  • (1) Sediment Filter - 5-micron polyspun cartridge - The 5-micron polyspun water filter takes out suspended solids such as dirt, rust, sand, and pipe scale.
  • (1) Greenblock® Activated Carbon Block Filter - 5-micron activated carbon block water filter removes chlorine, bad tastes, and odors.
  • (1) Granular Activated Carbon post-filter - When the faucet is opened, clean water from the storage tank flows through the final polishing water filter of activated carbon and into the faucet for your use. This special faucet is installed on your sink to dispense safe, good tasting drinking water which is especially good when used for coffee, tea, and drinks.

Installation tips
  • Shut Off Water Supply: Turn off the feed water to the filtration system.
  • Relieve Pressure: Open the RO faucet to release pressure from the housings.
  • Remove Old Filters: Use the filter wrench if needed to open housings and remove used filters.
  • Install New Filters: Insert the new sediment and carbon filters into their correct stages.
  • Inspect O-Rings: Clean and lubricate O-rings; replace if worn.
  • Reassemble Housings: Hand-tighten housings securely (do not overtighten).
  • Restore Water Supply: Turn water back on slowly and check for leaks.
  • Flush the System: Flush several gallons of water to condition the new filters before use.
  • Log Replacement Date: Record the date to stay on schedule for the next annual change.

What does the FK-100G annual filter kit do?
It replaces the sediment and carbon filtration stages that remove particles, chlorine, taste, and odor, helping maintain water quality and protect the RO membrane.

Will this fit my system?
Yes, if you have a GreenMachine PT‑4GR/PT‑4G (4‑Stage, 50 GPD). For PT‑5GR (5‑Stage), order FK‑101G instead.

Does this kit include an RO membrane?
No. The RO membrane is replaced separately and typically has a longer service life than the annual filters.

Do I need to change the RO membrane now?
Not every year. Replace the Revtex 50 GPD (MAD‑4230) when TDS reduction drops or about every 2 years on average.
