What’s in the FK‑101G Annual Kit

• (1) Sediment filter, 5‑micron, 2.5"×10" — Traps dirt, rust, sand, and scale.
• (2) GreenBlock® carbon block filters, 2.5"×10" — Reduces chlorine, bad taste & odor. 
• (1) Inline post‑filter, 2"×10" — Final “polish” as water leaves the tank. Option: swap to GAC/Calcite post‑filter to help neutralize pH.
• (1) Filter housing wrench + (2) O‑rings + instructions for a clean, leak‑free changeout. (RO Membrane sold separately.)

Vertex 5-Stage GreenMachine Reverse Osmosis Annual Filter Kit

Keep your GreenMachine PT-5GR | 50 Gallon per Day 5-Stage RO Water Purifier by Vertex maintained with this comprehensive filter kit. Each kit includes the following;

• (1) Sediment Filter - 5-micron polyspun cartridge - The 5-micron polyspun water filter takes out suspended solids such as dirt, rust, sand, and pipe scale.
• (2) Greenblock® Activated Carbon Block Filters - 5-micron activated carbon block water filter removes chlorine, bad tastes, and odors.
• (1) Granular Activated Carbon post-filter - When the faucet is opened, clean water from the storage tank flows through the final polishing water filter of activated carbon and into the faucet for your use. This special faucet is installed on your sink to dispense safe, good-tasting drinking water which is especially good when used for coffee, tea, and drinks.
• Optional Stage 5 GAC/Calcite filter - Brings the water pH back up to 7. Typically, reverse osmosis purification removes minerals which subsequently causes the pH level to drop. This optional post filter will replace the mineral and will raise the pH to (around) 7.

How to change your filters (5–10 minutes)

1. Shut off water & relieve pressure at the faucet.
2. Use the housing wrench to open Stage 1–3 canisters; swap sediment and both GreenBlock® carbons; lube and seat new O‑rings.
3. Replace Stage‑5 inline post filter (observe flow arrow).
4. Flush the system until water runs clear and taste is neutral. (See the included instructions for step‑by‑step photos.) 

FAQs

Will this fit my RO system?
Yes, this is the official annual kit for the GreenMachine PT‑5G / PT‑5GR (5‑stage, 50 GPD). It will not fit IsoTwist or other Vertex families.

What’s the benefit of the GAC/Calcite option?
It adds calcite media to help raise pH toward ~7 after RO, which some customers prefer for taste. Select it when you order.

How often should I replace the RO membrane?
Membrane life varies by water quality and usage. The 50 GPD Revtex 1:1 (MAD‑4230) is sold separately, replace when TDS reduction drops significantly.
