Best for

  • Facility managers in schools, healthcare, offices, and manufacturing plants who need dedicated drinking-water systems (not whole-building treatment).
  • Spaces where taste, clarity and odor of drinking water matter (cafeterias, break rooms, hospitality suites).
  • Environments that demand low-maintenance servicing, minimal filter tools and minimal downtime.
  • Locations with moderate water demands (50-75 gallons per day) rather than full facility feed-through.
  • Buyers seeking certified contaminant reduction and high-quality under-sink drinking-water solutions.

Installation tips

  1. Locate a suitable under-sink space with access to cold potable water supply, drain line and faucet hole or add-on faucet mount.
  2. Verify feed water pressure is within 40-100 psi and pre-treatment is in place if hardness, iron or turbidity exceed guidelines.
  3. Shut off main water supply, relieve pressure and install the adapter valve on the cold-water line.
  4. Mount the manifold assembly on a cabinet wall with access to cartridges.
  5. Connect tubing: feed water → manifold inlet; reject/drain line per manufacturer instructions; clean-water outlet to dedicated faucet.
  6. Flush the system: Fill the tank, then discard the first full tank of water (to purge the filters and membrane).
  7. Label filter change intervals: Sediment/Carbon every ~6 months, Finishing filter every 6-12 months, RO Membrane every ~36 months (depending on water quality).
  8. Maintain a record of installation date, model/serial number, and water quality tests if required by facility standards.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the 50 GPD and 75 GPD models?
The main difference is the RO membrane capacity—50 GPD yields approx. 50 gallons per day under optimal conditions; 75 GPD is higher throughput for larger demand. Both share the same filtration stages and quick-connect design.

How often do I need to change filters?

  • Sediment filter (Stage 1): ~6 months
  • Carbon block filter (Stage 2): ~6 months
  • RO membrane (Stage 3): ~36 months (depending on feed-water quality)
  • Finishing filter (Stage 4): ~6-12 months (or sooner if taste/flow declines)

Is this system certified to remove lead, PFAS or other heavy metals?
Yes. The system is certified under ANSI/NSF 58 (or equivalent) for reduction of lead, arsenic V, barium, cadmium, chromium III/VI, copper, selenium, radium and TDS. Some variations (via Aqua Flo QCRO family) also list PFOS/PFOA reduction.

Will the system work if my water is very hard or has high iron content?
The system’s feed-water guidelines specify hardness less than ~7 gpg (or 10 gpg in broader spec sheets), iron <0.2 ppm, manganese <0.05 ppm, turbidity <1.0 NTU. If your water exceeds those values, pre-treatment (softener, sediment filter, iron removal) is recommended. Failure to pre-treat may shorten filter/membrane life.

Can this system serve multiple faucets or large-scale use?
This system is designed for a single dedicated faucet serving drinking/food-service points under sink. For multiple faucets or full-facility use, a larger commercial system would be more appropriate.

What happens if the filter or membrane is not changed on schedule?
Overdue cartridges may lead to reduced flow, higher rejection of contaminants may diminish, and the RO membrane may be exposed to chlorine or sediment damage. This can reduce system performance and shorten membrane lifespan.

Do I need electrical power for this system?
No. This under-sink RO system operates via water pressure and uses a storage tank; no separate power supply is required (unless optional pump variant is used).

How do I dispose of the spent cartridges?
Follow local regulations for disposal of water-treatment cartridges. Some components may be recycled depending on local programs
