Replacement UV Lamp for PURE-UV Water Purifiers
The germicidal energy of ultraviolet light destroys harmful microorganisms by attacking their genetic core (DNA). The powerful dose of UV light in the PURE-UV water purifier eliminates their ability to reproduce, and the organisms simply die. As water flows through the UV chamber, microorganisms are exposed to a lethal dose of germicidal UV energy. UV purification is a safe, natural process that adds no chemicals and does not affect the taste or odor of your water.
For use in the following PURE-UV Water Purifiers:
- PURE UV-1 Under Counter 2-Stage Ultraviolet Water Sterilizer (stage 2)
- PURE UV-2 Under Counter 3-Stage Ultraviolet Water Sterilizer (stage 3)
- PURE UV-3 Under Counter 4-Stage Ultraviolet Water Sterilizer (stage 4)
UV Lamp Replacement - Lamps must be changed every twelve (12) months. While UV lamps rarely burn out, they do lose their disinfection power. Use only PURE-UV lamps as they are specifically designed for the PURE system to deliver high-quality drinking water.
