FAQs
Is CL4‑9531 the correct thermostat for every PWC model?
No, CL4‑9531 is for the PWC‑400 cold circuit. Other models (PWC‑1000/1500/3500, etc.) use different controls. Please contact us with your model/serial.
What symptoms point to a bad cold thermostat?
Water stays warm, compressor never turns on, or runs continuously and ices the tank/coil. If wiring and charge are OK, the cold control is often the fix.
Do I need sealant on the sensing bulb?
Use the factory method (bulb fully seated in the well). If your unit used thermal paste or a clip, reuse/replace per Replacement instructions.
