MERV 8 pre-filters capture mold spores, hair spray, fabric protector, cement dust, etc. Their efficiency is rated approximately 85% for particles as small as 3 microns. The Pre-filter will capture the larger particles and will pro-long the life of subsequent filters.

Replace pre-filter every 1-2 months.
