Each FK-M15V Annual Filter Kit Includes;

Pre-Filters - The pre-filter should be changed at least once per month. It removes larger particles such as lint, hair, dust, and pollen. This is important because it helps to prolong the life of the High Efficiency filter. Essentially, the pre-filter is the first line of defense in maintaining your MARK-15V air cleaning system.
For maximum results, the pre-filter should be replaced at least once per month.

18 Pound Carbon V-Bank Filter - The 18-pound V-Bank Carbon Filter in the MARK-15V is superior at removing offensive smells and gases, chemicals, cigar and cigarette odors. It's ideal for removing VOCs and odors in schools, airports, hospitals, VFW, and bingo halls, as well as many other commercial and light industrial applications. With 18 pounds of activated carbon and its unique construction, the V-Bank filter will hold up in areas with higher humidity, higher temperatures, and corrosive atmospheres.
For maximum results, the V-Bank Carbon filter should be replaced once per year.

High Efficiency Filter - The High Efficiency filter in the MARK-15V Smoke Eater removes very small particles. These include smoke (tobacco, burning wood, oil, rosin), dust mites, mold spores, and pollen. The High Efficiency filter can also remove spray paint, ashes, cement dust, auto emissions, textile fibers, fiberglass, hairspray, copier toner, and most viruses, just to name a few. The High Efficiency filter is extremely important to achieve clean air. When used and maintained properly, the High Efficiency filter will dramatically improve your indoor air quality.
For maximum results, the High Efficiency filter should be replaced once per year.

Installation tips

General Access

The intake door is located closest to the HI/OFF/LO switch. Remove the pins and grill to access the filters.

Pre-Filters

Replace every 3–4 weeks on average.
Do NOT wash pre-filters.
Peel away the dirty pre-filter and discard it.
Install the new pre-filter with the white side facing out, then close the intake door.

18 Pound V-Bank Carbon Filter

Replace Annually
Do NOT wash carbon filter.
Remove the pre-filter first, then pull out the old carbon filter, discard, and insert the new carbon filter behind the pre-filter.

High Efficiency Filter (HE)

Replace annually (once per year)
Do NOT wash High Efficiency filters
Located behind the carbon layer
Remove and discard the old filter; slide the new filter fully into place
