THE MARK-15-V HEAVY-DUTY SMOKE EATER & AIR PURIFIER IS THE BEST SMOKE ODOR, GAS, & MOLECULAR CONTAMINANT REMOVAL MACHINE FOR PLACES WITH HIGH CEILINGS
One MARK-15-V covers approximately 6,000 cubic feet at 1,050-1,250 cubic feet per minute (CFM).
Includes installation hardware and all filters needed for the first year.
The MARK-15-V heavy-duty commercial air purifier is designed to effectively address indoor smoke, persistent odors, and various air quality issues in large areas with 10-12-foot high ceilings. It's ideal for spaces such as community halls, restaurants, bars, lounges, taverns, billiard halls, meeting rooms, and more. Equipped with a high-efficiency filter and an 18-pound carbon V-Bank filter, the MARK-15-V excels at removing offensive odors and gases. It's also suitable for eliminating molecular contaminants in commercial buildings, airports, hospitals, research facilities, print shops, salons, labs, and other commercial and light industrial applications. The V-Bank filter is durable and performs well in areas with higher humidity and corrosive atmospheres.
3-Filter Smoke Elimination System Provides Superior Air Cleaning Results
The MARK-15-V heavy-duty commercial air purifier features a 95% high-efficiency filter media and utilizes 18 pounds of activated carbon in a V-Bank housing. While high-efficiency filters are effective at capturing particles down to 0.3 microns, they cannot remove gases or odors. Activated carbon addresses this limitation by adsorbing a wide range of vapors, including organic molecules and solvents, thereby enhancing air purification. It operates effectively under various temperature and humidity conditions. Regular maintenance and timely replacement of the carbon filter are essential to maintain optimal performance and ensure a fresh, clean-smelling environment.
Stage 1 - Pre-Filter
The 1/2-inch polyester pre-filter removes large particles such as lint, hair, dust, and pollen. The pre-filter is important because it helps prolong the life of the High Efficiency filter in the system. Essentially, the pre-filter is the first line of defense in maintaining your system.
(12) Polyester pre-filters are included with each unit. Pre-filters cannot be washed and must be changed monthly.
Stage 2 - 18 Pound Carbon V-Bank Filter
The 18-pound carbon V-Bank Filter in the MARK-15-V is an excellent choice when the need to control strong smells is required - including recreational smokes and strong odors. Activated Carbon removes odors by absorbing gases & VOCs into the porous carbon granules. Think of carbon as an odor sponge. It can hold many times its weight in odor molecules. However, once carbon becomes saturated it loses its efficiency. Thus, proper maintenance of the carbon filter is required to keep your environment fresh & clean smelling.

Stage 3 - High Efficiency Filter
The High Efficiency filter in the MARK-15-V is designed to remove very small particles, including smoke from various sources, burning wood, oil, rosin, dust mites, spores, mold spores, pollen, spray paint, ashes, cement dust, auto emissions, textile fibers, fiberglass, hairspray, insecticide dust, copier toner, and most viruses. This filter is crucial for capturing a majority of airborne particulates, and when used and maintained properly, it will dramatically improve your indoor air quality. The High Efficiency filter should be replaced annually and cannot be washed.
(1) 6-inch High Efficiency filter is supplied with each MARK-15-V Smoke Eater. For best results, the High Efficiency filter cannot be washed and should be changed annually.
OPTIONAL - Remote Control
Easily control the settings on your MARK-15-V Smoke Eater with a handy Remote Control Key Fob. If your Smoke Eater is installed in an awkward area or is too high to reach, the remote control is an excellent choice. Each receiver is factory installed and comes with 2 battery-operated remote control key fobs. (Multiple air cleaners require a separate receiver/transmitter for each unit.) The receiver / Transmitter range is approximately 10 feet under normal operating conditions.
Partial list of gases that can be removed with activated carbon:
- ORGANIC COMPOUNDS - Acids, Alcohols, Aldehydes
- CHLORINATED HYDROCARBONS - Esters, Ethers, Ketones, Mercaptans, Amines
- INORGANIC COMPOUNDS - Halogen Acids, Halogens, Sulphuric Acid, Sulphur Dioxide, Phosgene
- MISCELLANEOUS ODORS FROM - Humans, Animals, Foods, Smoking, Cooking, and Waste Processes
Reducing airborne contaminants can provide a more effective work area and will help to keep your employees, customers, and family happier!
