Restore full airflow and quiet performance
Direct-fit replacement motor designed for the CleanAir CASE-1000 ceiling-mount smoke eater. Replaces worn or noisy motors, allowing the unit to move 600/800/1,000 CFM again with smooth starts and low vibration. Built for continuous commercial duty in lounges, bars, restaurants, and break rooms.
BENEFITS
- Direct fit for CASE-1000—no re-engineering.
- Restores airflow across all three fan speeds.
- Smooth, quiet operation when paired with a healthy wheel and clean cell.
- Lower downtime—ships ready for install; wiring matches the cabinet harness.
Installation & safety (at-a-glance)
- Disconnect power and lock-out/tag-out before service.
- Support the unit’s access door, then remove the blower section per the CASE-1000 manual.
- Label and photograph wiring before removal; match the color leads to the original speed taps.
- Inspect/clean the electronic cell & prefilter while the cabinet is open; a dirty cell increases motor load.
- Balance or replace the blower wheel if bent or noisy.
- Start on LOW, check rotation and vibration, then test MED/HIGH.
-
Installation by a licensed electrician/HVAC tech is recommended.
FAQs
How do I know the motor needs replacement?
Humming without starting, tripping breakers, reduced airflow on all speeds, overheating, or bearing noise, even after the cell and prefilter are cleaned, signal a failing motor or capacitor.
Will this change my sound levels?
A healthy motor and balanced wheel typically return the unit to spec (≈65/57/53 dB(A) on High/Med/Low). Excess noise often points to a damaged wheel or a dirty cell.
Is this a plug-in?
No. The CASE-1000 is hard-wired 120 V. Use a licensed electrician.
