Both models, the I-600 and I-700 utilize the exact same filters.
They come fully equipped with (1) Pre-filter and (1) True HEPA filter.
Stage 1 - Pre-Filter - The pre-filter will trap large particles such as lint, dander, hairs, and dust. The pre-filter can be vacuumed (from the outside of the unit) or rinsed but should be changed every 6-12 months depending on usage. Replacing the pre-filter on a regular basis is important in order to maintain the integrity and life of the Carbon and HEPA filters. The pre-filter is 1-inch thick and contains 570 square inches of material.
Replace the pre-filter every 6-12 months.
Stage 2 - (OPTIONAL) Hi-C Carbon Weave Filter - 306 square inches of carbon filter weave reduces basic odors & gases.
Replace the Hi-C carbon weave filter every 4-6 months.
Stage 3 - True HEPA Filtration - An absolute necessity for those who want really clean, breathable air. The true HEPA filter in the Airpura I600 traps 99.97% of particles as tiny as 0.3 microns+. It's 3-inches deep and contains 100 square feet of media. The specially designed HEPA filter is warm rolled to avoid cracking at the folds and to avoid leakage. Spacers keep the folds open to make sure that all 100 square feet of the surface area are being used to capture particles.
Replace the HEPA filter every 3-5 years.
Stage 4 - (OPTIONAL) UV Sterilization - A 20-watt lamp of germicidal UV protection is positioned in the filter chamber. As microbes pass through the filters, they are sterilized by ultraviolet. They cannot get past the UV lamp without being exposed to 30,000 μm per sec², which renders their DNA useless. The UV lamp is effective for 10,000 hours and can be turned on and off as desired.
Replace the UV lamp every 12-18 months.

Variable speed up to 560 CFM allows you to choose the ideal level of airflow. The unique position of the motor avoids internal turbulence and does not interfere with airflow.
- Environmentally Conscious Design - Airpura air purifiers do not contain any plastic, rubber, silicone, adhesives, or bonding agents (other than a minute amount required to meet UL, ETL, CE, and CSA safety requirements). The capacitors are PCB-free and no lead is used in soldering the speed control. Rivet fastening, despite a slightly higher cost and more time, is used instead of spot welding. This prevents additional off-gassing of particles and chemical vapors including greenhouse gases. The ingenious 'sock' filter liner in the carbon bed allows for better airflow throughout the carbon granules while reducing the amount of material used.
