Installation tips

Install by removing a ceiling tile and dropping the unit in. The weight of the system does not rest on the ceiling grids but is secured above the suspended ceiling to a permanent structure, such as a joist or beam. Installation hardware includes (2) eyebolts, (2) eye lags, and industrial hanging wire.

How much space does one PR10.0 cover?
One unit handles up to about 4,000 cubic feet in typical commercial conditions. Larger rooms or heavier smoke loads usually require multiple units.

Does it remove both smoke and odors?
Yes. The multi-stage system captures fine smoke particles and uses activated carbon to reduce odors and gases. Odor performance depends on smoke load and filter-change frequency.

Can I use this in a high-ceiling room?
It works best in spaces with ceilings around 10 feet. Taller ceilings reduce effectiveness and may require additional units or a higher-capacity model.

What kind of ceiling does it fit into?
It installs into a drop/suspended ceiling, replacing one 2×4 tile (or two 2×2 tiles). The space above the grid must provide at least 13 inches of clearance.

Does the unit sit on the ceiling grid?
No. It must be independently supported from above. The ceiling grid is not designed to hold the unit’s weight.

How loud is it?
At high speed, sound levels are about 67 dB at 5 feet, similar to a strong commercial air mover.

How often do the filters need to be changed?
