Installation tips

The WM150 can be used as a freestanding unit or wall-mounted.

A complete installation kit is included in the package.

To wall-mount:

Remove the cover from the unit and detach the wall-mounting bracket from the rear of the unit by removing the four bolts that secure it. Refer to the installation drawing at the rear of the manual and maintain the minimum clearances from adjacent objects (walls, ceilings, etc).
Place the wall-mounting bracket on the wall, ensuring it is correctly oriented and level. Mark off 4 points on the wall for mounting.
Use a 7 mm masonry bit, drill the 4 marked points to a depth of 40 mm, and insert the 4 Rawl plugs supplied with the unit.
Secure the wall-mounting bracket to the wall using the 4 brass screws supplied.
Screw in 2 × M6 bolts into the top fixings on the bracket, only 2-3 turns. Then lift the unit onto the bracket via the keyhole slots, and only then fit the bottom two bolts. Afterwards, tighten all 4 bolts.
Check that the unit is securely mounted to the wall bracket.
Replace the cover and refit all fixings that were removed.
After unpacking, examine all external features to confirm no shipment damage.
Connect the power cable to a grounded 13 Amp electrical socket.
Connect the drainage outlet to a suitably sized hose and run the hose to a permanent drain.
Do not attempt to lift heavy units unassisted (this appears under Safety) - though not strictly an installation tip, it is relevant
