Changing the filters in your MARK-25 Commercial Smoke Eater on a regular basis is required in order to maintain the lifetime blower motor warranty.
Each FK-M25 Filter Kit Includes;
- 12 - 1/2" Tackified Pre-Filters - Change Monthly
- 12 - 1/2" Carbon Filter Pads - Change Monthly
- 1 - 12" H.E.P.A. Filter - Change Annually
- 1 - 36 Pound Carbon V-Bank Filter - Change Annually
Pre-Filters - 12 Polyester pre filters are included with each annual filter kit. The pre filter is changed monthly and removes larger particles such as lint, hair, dust and pollen. The pre filter is important because not only does it remove the larger particles, it also helps prolong the life of the HEPA filter in the system. Essentially, the pre filter is the first line of defense in maintaining your system; therefore promoting better indoor air quality.
Pre-filters cannot be washed and must be changed monthly.
Activated Carbon Filter Pads - 6 Activated Carbon Filters pads are supplied with each system. The activated carbon filter is changed every two months and removes odors by absorbing the odor molecules into the filter. Since the activated carbon can only absorb a certain amount of molecules, it will begin releasing the trapped molecules, once it is full, back into the air if not properly maintained.
Carbon filters cannot be washed and must be changed every 2 months.
36 Pound Carbon V-Bank Filter - The 36 pound Carbon V-Bank Filter in the MARK-25 is superior at removing offensive smells and gases, chemicals, cigar and cigarette odors. It's ideal for use in removal of molecular contaminants in commercial buildings, airports, hospitals, VFW and bingo halls, and many other commercial and light industrial applications. With 36 pounds of activated carbon and it's unique construction, the V-Bank filter will hold up in areas with higher humidity, higher temperatures and in corrosive atmospheres.
The Carbon V-Bank Filter cannot be washed and should be changed annually.
HEPA Filter - 1 - 12" HEPA Filter is supplied with each MARK-25 Smoke Eater and should be changed once per year. The HEPA filter removes the very small particles, such as smoke (tobacco, burning wood, oil, rosin), dust mites, spores, mold spores, pollen, spray paint, spray paint dust, ashes, cement dust, auto emissions, textile fibers, fiberglass, hairspray, insecticide dust, copier toner and most viruses, just to name a few. As you can see, the HEPA filter is an extremely important filter and when used and maintained properly will dramatically improve your indoor air quality. We cannot stress enough the importance of the HEPA filter to our system and the fact the HEPA filter must be maintained in order to achieve the maximum results.
The HEPA filter cannot be washed and should be changed annually.
