Changing the filters in your PR20.0 High Capacity Commercial Air Cleaner for Smoke & Odor Removal on a regular basis is required to maintain the health of the unit.
Each FK-PR20.0 Filter Kit Includes;
- (12) 1/2-inch Pre-Filters – Change Monthly
- (1) 18 Pound 6-inch Carbon V-Bank Filter – Change Annually
- (1) 6-inch High Efficiency Filter – Change Annually
Pre-Filters - 12 Polyester pre-filters are included in each annual filter kit. The pre-filter is important because it removes the larger particles such as lint, hair, dust & pollen, and it also helps prolong the life of the High Efficiency filter. Essentially, the pre-filter is the first line of defense in maintaining your PR20.0 High Capacity Commercial Air Cleaner for Smoke & Odor Removal.
Pre-filters cannot be washed and must be changed monthly.
18 Pound Carbon V-Bank Filter - The 18 pound Carbon V-Bank Filter in the PR20.0 is superior at removing offensive smells and gases, chemicals, cigar, and cigarette odors. It’s ideal for removing VOCs, chemicals, and odors in all types of applications including cigar bars, smoking areas, hookah lounges, etc. A full 18 pounds of activated carbon, combined with its unique "V-Bank" construction, make this filter super powerful. It will hold up in areas with higher humidity, higher temperatures, and corrosive atmospheres.
The Carbon V-Bank Filter cannot be washed and should be changed annually.
High Efficiency Filter - 1 – 6-inch High Efficiency Filter is supplied with each PR20.0 filter kit. The High Efficiency filter removes the very small particles including smoke (from tobacco, burning wood, oil, rosin). It's also excellent at capturing dust mites, mold spores, pollen, spray paint, ashes, cement dust, auto emissions, textile fibers, fiberglass, hairspray, insecticide dust, copier toner, and most viruses, just to name a few. The High Efficiency filter is an extremely important filter and, when used and maintained properly, it will dramatically improve your indoor air quality. We cannot stress enough the importance of maintaining the High Efficiency filter in order to achieve maximum air cleaning results.
