About this product

2-Stage Under Counter Water Filter - Available with or without a Chrome Designer Faucet

Enjoy clean, refreshing water anytime you want it. Our easy to install under-sink water filter will provide safer, cleaner, contaminant-free drinking water for you and your family, employees, or clients. We offer this drinking water system with or without a European Style faucet. Your filtered water will dispense from a dedicated spout or directly from your existing faucet. It's super easy to install and includes everything you need for a 1/4-inch connection.

This system fits and supports the following recommended cartridges: Dual-Stage Easy-to-Change Cartridges

  • Stage 1 - 5-micron sediment pre-filter - The Pentek P5 reduces contaminants such as sediment, sand, silt, rust, and more from your tap water. This high-quality sediment filter is manufactured from pure 100% polypropylene fibers carefully spun together to form a true gradient density from outer to inner surfaces. The P5 provides superior chemical resistance and is not prone to bacterial attacks.
    Replace filter every 6 months.
  • Stage 2 - 0.5-micron carbon block filter - The Pentek CBR2-10 filter is a carbon block filter that dramatically reduces cysts, chlorine taste and odor, lead, mercury, methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and fine sediment in residential drinking water. You'll notice a serious improvement in the taste, odor, and clarity of your drinking water.
    Replace filter every 6 months.

Installation tips

  • Confirm space under the sink: need room for two 10″ cartridges in series and clearance for cartridge changes.
  • Shut off cold water supply, drain existing feed line, and relieve pressure before installation.
  • Mount the assembly vertically on cabinet side-wall near faucet feed. Use the enclosed bracket.
  • Use the angle stop valve to tap into cold water supply; connect ¼″ tubing from stop to inlet port, and from outlet port to faucet feed.
  • Use only compatible 10″ cartridges rated for the contaminants you target.
  • After installation, flush at least 2–3 gallons through the system before use to remove any manufacturing debris or carbon fines.
  • Label next change date and schedule cartridge replacement at proper interval (often every 6-12 months depending on water quality).
  • Regularly inspect fittings for leaks; ensure quick-connect connections are fully seated and tubing is cut cleanly square.

Frequently asked questions

Does this system include filter cartridges?
No. The housing assembly is supplied; cartridges are not included and must be selected separately to meet your specific water quality needs.

Does it come with a faucet?
No. The faucet is sold separately and must be installed for full function.

What size cartridges does it require?
It accepts 10″ × 2.5″ standard cartridges (two of them in series) as stated by the manufacturer.

What is the required maintenance schedule?
Cartridge replacement depends on water quality and usage. Many users in moderate use environments replace carbon block and sediment cartridges every 6–12 months. For best results, label your install date and check pressure drop/taste periodically.

Can I use this on a high-flow application?
This system is designed for under-sink point‐of‐use applications, not high-volume whole-building flows. For higher flow rates you should evaluate larger systems.

Does it remove specific contaminants like lead or VOCs?
The housing itself is only the mechanical assembly. Contaminant removal depends on the cartridges you select. Choose cartridges certified for lead, VOCs or other targeted contaminants as needed.

What happens if a fitting leaks?
Ensure the John Guest tubing is cut square, pushed fully into the fitting until you hear a click, and the system is under pressure. If a leak occurs at a connection, depressurize the line, push in the collet, pull out tubing, re-cut tubing, reinsert and re-test.
