Constructed with denser material and a more rigid, sturdier metal, the Polytron pre-filter will last longer than the standard pre-filter.

The super-strong, heavy-duty Polytron pre-filter will help protect the electronic cell more diligently than the standard pre-filter because it captures more particles.  It's especially helpful when dealing with "wet" or "misty" smoke.  Constructed with a denser, more rigid & sturdy metal, they rarely need replacing because they don't degrade and won't detach from the frame due to washing and usage. Their construction keeps them from shedding aluminum “hairs” up into the electronic cells which can cause sparking.
