How Does the Airfree P2000 Air Purifier Work?

Contaminated air is drawn into the air inlet chamber and passes through ceramic sterilization ducts using energy-efficient convection currents. Warm air is lighter (less dense) than cold air. As warm air rises, cold air moves to take its place. This cyclic nature of moving air is called a convection current.

Next, airborne microorganisms move through the heated ceramic ducts where they are destroyed at a temperature of approximately 400° F.

The sterilized air is then cooled and delivered back to the environment without affecting room temperature or humidity.
